APPENDIX I: TWD PARTICIPANTS

Many Tibet NGOs and individuals were involved in over two years of
 preparation for the UN FWCW. The commitment of the many women and 
men in this effort cannot be understated. Only a small portion of 
those involved actually made it to the final conference in China, 
since, as previously discussed, many were unable to attend because 
of visa rejections and other obstacles.Delegates who did not go to 
China carried on communications abroad, led demonstrations about 
visa denials and organised events to welcome back those who went 
to Beijing. Special thanks goes to the women who served as "Buddies" 
to the TWD members at the NGO Forum in Huairou, giving up most or 
all of their time to the Tibetan effort.
