GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The Goal is to:

Develop an internationally representative forum of indigenous connectivity interest-holders and partners (governments and international financial institutions) in tandem with and as an integral part of the World Summit on the Information Society.

The Objectives will be to:

a. Increase awareness, share best practices and identify particular indigenous barriers/challenges to the information society;

b. Ensure indigenous stakeholder participation and engagement within the WSIS process and deliberation;
