STATEMENT BY ARTHUR MANUEL ON BEHALF OF THE GLOBAL CAUCUS OF INDIGENOUS
PEOPLES |
This presentation consists of recommendations
and concerns of the Global Caucus during its preparatory meeting on May
5th. It was diligently crafted by the excellent team of rapporteurs and
writing team of the Global Caucus and represents the collectives
position of the Indigenous Peoples who contributed to the statement
through presentations to the Global Caucus. It was considered by the
Indigenous Peoples who heard the presentation as an accurate
representation of their recommendations to the PFII. (more)

indigenous peoples’ issues and advancing the rights and well-being of
indigenous communities. You can help make the United Nations more
responsive to the aspirations and needs of indigenous peoples. I
